Kanonkop Paul Sauer 2012 South African Bordeaux Blend 750 mL

$54.99

rated 90 points Wine Advocate

November 2015 Drink: 2016 – 2027 (45) "The 2012 Paul Sauer is matured 24 months in new oak. Actually, the nose is very similar to the previous vintage with mint-tinged, floral black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with taut tannin, quite backward and primal as you would expect, the oak lifting the finish. Let’s see what happens over the next year." -Neal Martin 2012 Kanonkop Paul Sauer Cape Classics, 15 W 26th St, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10010 , (212) 686-1300 , www.capeclassics.com

Besides the solid foundation on which the estate’s winemaking principles are based, it is also blessed with ideal soils, cool sea breezes and long summer days, creating the perfect climate for growing grapes…" -The Winery
