“Inspired by the Jungwein (‘young wine’) tradition of consulting winemaker Helmut Gangl’s Austrian homeland, this Chardonnay-based effort imitates the brisk, jubilant, green-apple infused whites one would find in that nation’s local taverns, orheurigen, which open each year to celebrate the harvest. Clocking in just under 12% alcohol, its touch of residual sugar (the result of a prematurely arrested fermentation) finds balance with a cleansing rinse of acidity.” — Zachary Sussman, PUNCH

“Green apple, juicy pear, jasmine tea, lime and grapefruit aromas lead into a light bodied, juicy palate that bursts with pear and apple flavors. There is a subtle sweetness here but the crisp, juicy acidity provides impeccable balance. This is exactly what wines of this style should be — fruity, straightforward and absolutely delicious…Buy at least a half case. You’re going to need it.” — Lenn Thompson, NY Cork Report
